Catch up

Mexico is just a memory in my head now. Im back into the world of english, overly comfortable life styles, and unhappy people. So with this extra leisure time i will try to bring this blog a little up to date. I neglected this blog worse then the others but i suppose i just didn't want a routine that kept me connected with everything that I left. But never fear, i am back in the US and consuming like an average American. And all the consumption has made me lazy so Im just going to upload fotos and give them captions. A picture is worth a 1000 words, no?

Unfortunate but common.

San Felipe was a fishing town. Now its a tourist town.

My room, with a girl in it.

I had a crazy new years. Parties and all. I dont have much time to describe everything. But i went to this crazy house party with a cover band. And to a rave that went untel 1pm (i didnt stay that long). I was actualy so tired from the day before i slept through midnight and woke up around 1am and started partying again. I have a few photos i want to post but the guy that runs the computer cafe gets pissed when i upload a buch of photos. So here is one for now of the house party. Mas cosas luago.

Puppies and hunted houses

Free puppies!!! We started with 7 and we still have 5. So if anyone wants a puppie, come on down to san felipe and pick it up. I'v gone back and forth about keeping one but there is no way i can travel down here with it. Plus i can barly take care of myself, let alone a dog.

The same day and place I met my teachers and landloards, we all got invited to be extras in a movie. This is the hunted house. The old aqua marina hotel (in reality) had some misfortune. A girl drowned in their pool and a helicopter crashed into one of the buildings. New owners are trying to rebuild it but workers keep quiting after they report a invisable hand forcfuly grabing them from behind. Sounds like a scooby doo mystery. Pretty tho.

Mi casa y mi

So this is the place I rent. Its kinda in the barrio. But you cant beat $50 a month + spanish classes. I have since cleaned and painted the place.
I dont have many things so the place suits my needs just fine. I pitch money when Josh and Anna get grocries and I usualy eat with them.
A few days ago we went to Mexicali to the fle market. I have never been to a place like that before in my life. From pirated porn to used clothes. Its not outside, but not inside either, and like a maze. Its like narrow walkways with shops and stalls on both sides with a tin and tarp roof over the walkway. I got lost a few times.
